6 Tips for a Spring Refresh

throw pillows:

One of the easiest (and budget friendly) ways to update your home is to swap out a few throw pillows. I have some that are staple throws, meaning they are out year round, but I also have several that I swap out seasonally. You can find the ones I purchased this Spring here.

candles and holders

Swap out candles (and potentially candle holders if you’re feeling extra). I love switching my candles to these bayberry candles in Spring. They look beautiful, burn clean and smell delicately fresh.

Bedding

One of my favorite ways to add a fresh Spring feel is to switch out some of my bedding. I change my winter duvet to my all season duvet and layer on some more textured or floral bedding. I swear by my Brooklinen Sheets, so those won’t be going anywhere.

FLORALS

With flowers being the epitome of Spring, adding blooms (fresh or faux) can have a huge impact. I’ve linked a few faux ones in my Spring Refresh roundup, but you can also buy fresh flowers at the store or even forage them from your backyard!

ART

I love swapping out art prints, if I am being honest, I’m usually too lazy to remove them from their frames. So I will usually just trade out the entire framed art and I have a back stock of prints I can move around. I look forward to moving them around and I never get bored of them!

Last but not least, a good old fashioned Spring cleaning will do any home good. I find it helpful to tackle one room at a time. Do a deep clean, purge, organize and make any notes of repairs that need to be done (blue tape works well).
